Error when reading MPEG-TS File

Hello community,

I have the following problem when reading an MPEG-TS File (Please see precise description of the file below or attached): when I fast forward (x2, x4, x8 or x16) and then hit “play” again, the playback starts again from the beginning, which make its impossible to fast forward or even backward during watching the file.
Could you please tell me if this is a bug in the software?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Y.

Hi,

your file contains a so- called transport stream that is normally used for transmission by TV transmitters and linear playback, but not for being played on players, or for fast-forward or fast-backward. To solve this problem, the file has to be converted into a program stream. To do so, you could for example demux it with PVAstrumento and remux it again with any multiplexing tool.
