First of all, I’m not a geek so please keep responses in simple mode. I just witnessed mybooklive trying to back up my imac 4 days to mybooklive. Today I get an error message that states my backupdisk is not in Mac OS Extended (Journaled)format - how do I correct this to be compatible with my time machine? As of now apparently I have not backed up once in 3 months! Help! Thank you :confounded:
The internal format of the my book live hard drive shouldn’t matter, try to access the dashboard and update the firmware to the latest version. Check the link below for the steps.
