Error: Recycle bin on F:\ is corrupted

In my office we have a My Passort Ultra running (WD Smartware Pro) connected to a Win10 machine via USB as drive F: and am getting the error on startup: “Recycle bin on F:\ is corrupted. Do you want to empty the recycle bin for this device?” I click YES but then get an error. This happens every time I reboot.

II’m new here so don’t know all the history but this is an older PC and at sometime in the past year or two or so the PC was converted to Win10 and the internal storage was upgraded to SSD (and it runs very nicely, I might add).

But I don’t know what to make of that error.
