Error on connecting with SMB

Hi, ignoring the fact that on June 2023 WD Discovery will not be supported anymore (and it is indecent), in order to gain local access on macOS Ventura I followed this guide for My Cloud Home Duo:

I went to Finder > Go > Connect to a server

I inserted the data: smb://MYCLOUD-******.local

where ****** = last 6 digit of my serial number, as stated in the guide. But I get this error, after selecting the name of the device (“MyHomeDuo” in my case):

This is indecent from WD. Indecent. Please solve my issue ASAP.

did you even try the CIF method mentioned in the guide ?

cifs://guest:guest@MYCLOUD-XXXXX/Public

Hi, no because I do not want to access the Public folder. By the way, the Italian support helped me to solve the connection issue (due to misconfiguration), but now on macOS (both Ventura and Monterey) if I want to access the files, I get a permission denied.
