Error message on my cloud home mobile app

once the device owner approves your account, you’ll get access. How do I get access?

Check the Device Owners email and approve the guest user access request.
Check the Guest Users email to validate.

I finally got this to work. When I had WD My Cloud NAS I set it up with a Hotmail account. That unit didn’t work with Edge so that was very unhandy so I switched the email to gmail. Took the My Cloud back and picked up a My Cloud Home which works with Edge but I will still use my gmail. So when I was trying to do the verify instead of WD sending messages to gmail it was sending them to Hotmail. So can anyone tell me how I get rid of that Hotmail in mycloud.com?
