My Passport was setup for copying Dish DVR and I researched how to erase the disk so I could use it with Windows 7Pro. So I downloaded, ran, and erased the drive thru Data LifeGuard Diagnostics program.
So now I believe my problem is that the drive shows up under Devices and Printers, not under My Computer. And (possibly) the NTFS is also erased?? And all the pre-installed WD software.
When I right click on the drive under Devices and Printers, I only see the Windows screen for 'Eject, Create Shortcut, Troubleshoot, and Properties".
Please advise.
I found out how to correct this.
