Enter my book edition to a 2003 server domain controller

I have a 2003 server domain controller, I give the option of entering the domain but get an error “ERROR: Join ADS failed]” I try all possible combinations with the domain name and the netbios domain name ie (domain.local, domain) help me I should do so that it can enter the domain?
