I have been able to access my WDMYCLOUD 2TB drive for months through WD Smartware and all of a sudden today it is prompting for login credentials - user name and password. I have attempted to login using the user name created and with/without a password being created. It just won’t let me into the Smartware settings to adjust my back up options. I have checked previous threads and after numerous pages, the thread was locked with no solution. Has anyone found a solution to this issue?
You may have to access the Microsoft Windows Credential Manager and delete any conflicting login info that may be related to WD SmartWare. Additional information is available in the following link:
