Hi, I have a simple question. Are the files on my device encrypted? The only way to access the private folders is using my credentials right?

No – not unless you’re doing the encryption.

Well, it depends on how you set it up.

Thanks for your answer. So if I set the password for a folder to only one user is it going to be secure or someone with fisical access to the disc could get to the files?

Someone with access could pull the drive out of the chassis, attach it to a PC, and have access to all files.
