Please add the feature to use TimeMachine with registered users. This shouldn’t be difficult since I am already doing it wit a workaround using the ip address.
I see no point why the TimeMachine should be in public mode and accessible to everyone? Yes, you can encrypt the backup… but this doesn’t prevent someone else to “accidentally” delete backups.
Another wish, please allow to use TimeMachine without AFP. Apple is removing AFP and why are you blocking us to use SMB for the TimeMachine?
