Hello,
i need a little beginner help. I have a WD Elements 5TB without a manual or software. I can’t find any instructions online either - only guarantee pdf. I can’t find any software either. Shouldn’t there at least be a backup program? And how do you turn off the record? Can you control this with software? But I can’t find it either … Can someone help me?

Very funny! I know that: one million word, but no one how the disk work.
How to atach cables i know myself!
That doesnt answer my questions!

I agree. Just bought 14 TB WD Elements and still have no idea how to turn it off safely. There is no software links on WD Elements webpage, nor any software provided with hard drive. No instructions either. Can someone please tell how this HDD may be safely ejected and turned off?
