I have a pair of 18TB Elements drives connected to a desktop to use for external backup. The drive lights stay flashing rapidly all the time, even though nothing should be happening.
I disconnected one of the drives and plugged it into a laptop and the drive behaves what seems more normal; a slow intermittent flash most of the time (ready mode, no?).
So what’s up with the desktop connected drive issue. Kitfox says everything is fine, but I remain confused.
EDIT - these are 12TB drives, not 18
