One of our clients can use their Elements 1023 on their desktops but not on their new HP Windows 7 Laptops
On the Laptops, administrative tools can see the drive but not read, write or be format the external drive
Our client would appreciate any assistance available

Hello,
Make sure you are using the cable that was provided with the drive and connect it directly to the computer USB post,.
Using a longer cable or using a USB hub may be the cause of this issue.

Check out the settings for sharing. They can be quite a pain to deal with.
