Eject the USB HardDisk by Shut Down!

Hello, first time i want say sorry for my bad English.

My question is: Can i Shut Down the WD Live hub with connected USB harddisk or must i eject this before i press the power button for 5 seconds.

It is advisable to eject the drives before do a full power down of the WD TV Live Hub (pressing the power button for 5 + seconds), this way you avoid any corruption.
