wd 1tb ears works only as native ide. Any fix for this ? Or only service ?
Hi I would check in bios first and make sure your sata controller is set to ahci not ide.

Hi if you read what I said it was to make SURE BIOS had ahci mode set and not in ide mode. On most motherboards you can set the storage controller access to ide or ahci or raid in bios.
there is any way to reload firmware in this hdd ? (1Tb ears) or rma again ?
