is it possible to use mycloud home for e-mail backup?
Is there a software I could use to backup my e-mails, store it on mycloud and access the backuped mails with mycloud?

It seems like half the threads by newly minted posters are spammers or phishers for some app or service trying to convert or backup emails which is not something related to the primary function of the My Cloud Home. Perhaps you could move or delete the thread and post these types of threads in the subforum where they are more tolerated by the administrator.

I have been using mycloud for years and I am wondering if anyone found a solution which could be a very useful feature.
I dont understand what you mean by primary function. Mycloud should cover any kind of useful backup solution and mails require a store solution which mycloud could offer imho.

Since My Cloud Home functions as network attached storage, you can definitely store your email backups on it. The key is using backup software on your computer that lets you select network drives as the target location. I use Mail Backup X on my desktop to back up my mail accounts, and I set the backup storage path directly to a shared folder on my NAS. It runs incremental backups on a set schedule in the background, sending compressed, encrypted mail archives over the local network to the drive. That way your emails are safely saved off your computer without needing manual file transfers every week.
