DX4000 stopped making automatic backups on one connected laptop

DX4000 was shutdown during vacation. Upon return it was restarted. The date on the Sentinel had not updated but accepted the current date and time via Date & Time using Internet time at time.windows.com. One client backed-up without further adjustments but backups to a laptop connected to the same network fails to be automatically backed-up. Manual backups to the laptop work without any issues. Both clients are running the latest version of Windows 10.

Make sure date and time for lappy and server are close
I would check scheduled task on the wonky laptop
perhaps disable enable backups
worst case uninstall reinstall conector

Sometimes the only way is just to disconnect the unit, re-connect it and start with a new backup

Task Scheduler reports the following:
The operator or administrator has refused the request. (0x800710E0). Not sure what conditions this might refer to.

I also noticed that the Task Scheduler Condition setting:
“Start the task only if the computer is on AC power” and
“Stop if the computer switches to battery power” are both checked.
Assume these conditions are required, i.e. the computer must be plugged-in.

you can right click run and then go to the event viewer log and see if there is a better explanation
