DVD ISO files overwritten by file manager

I have noticed that when I try transfer a DVD ISO file from a thumb drive to the attached HDD via the file managment it corrupts other ISO’s already on the HDD.  It appears to move the ISO correctly to the HDD, but also partially overwrites other ISO’s
