Twice now I’ve used the GUI to delete unwanted files and twice now after the library finished compiling every file showed twice. The first time it happened I only had a few files (on a 2TB USB HDD) so I deleted the .WDTV directory and all generated thumbnail and xml files. This of course was after powering the unit down for a few minutes to reset it but no luck.
This time however, I have over 1500 files on the WD TV and I’d really like to avoid having to download all the content info again. Took at least 30 minutes last time.
Any ideas why this is happening and if there’s an easy way to reset the unit without having to download all the info content again?
