I was looking at getting a sound bar for a new TV and was curious if you can use an HDMI cable for video and component for audio at the same time on the TV Live Plus. I would like to run the HDMI straight to the TV and the component cable to the sound bar. Would this work or do I have to choose an HDMI passthrough solution or component for everything?
Component is VIDEO ONLY.
There are ANALOG audio jacks (Left / Right only) but most people are saying they do NOT work simultaneously; you would have to switch Audio Modes in the WDTV to use one or the other.
