Dropped hard disk, recognized but not accessed

Yesterday I dropped my WD 2TB My paasport Ultra portable hard disk. When I plug it, my pc recognize that is an external WD hard disk but I can’t acces my data. I can see it on device management but on disk management says it is uknown with no capacity. What can I do? Is there any idea???

Sounds like the drive got corrupted.

If you need the information on the drive, I’ll recommend you to use a data recovery software to get the files out of the drive.
