Dropbox import failed - your drive is read-only

When I try to backup files from dropbox I get this message after few tend of files copied

Are you using a My Cloud Home? or other WD Product?
Windows or macOS computer?

I have the exact same problem. fails after about 2-3% of import. saying my drive is read-only. Using My home Cloud.

Can you create files or copy large amounts of files onto the drive?

If so, it seems to be a Dropbox issue.
If not, this is a device issue. Try checking the My Cloud settings and seeing if you have the drive or a portion of it set to read-only.
