Drives supported by Acronis True Image WD Edition

My Win 7 computer’s only hdd is a Hitachi. Will the Acronis True Image WD Edition be able to clone it? To either another Hitachi or WD drive? Thanks.

Hi, Acronis True Image WD Edition is only supported on WD drives. Check page 8 of the manual for more information.

It should clone to the WD drive but this is not the full Acronis version it has been altered by WD. Install the Acronis and see if it recognizes the drive. You may need the external connected when Instaling the Acronis. Make sure you make the boot disk.
