Drives no longer mount

I purchased an Orico enclosure and 4 WD80EFBX drives to make a RAID 5 drive. When I was doing set up for a RAID 5, it seemed it could not format one of the drives, continually giving me an error message about not being able to write to the last block of the drive. -69760. If I chose RAID 0, the error alarm would go off and seemed to recognize the drive. I kept going back and forth between RAID 0 and RAID 5, switching drives in the enclosure, changing cables, changing computers, nothing worked and now the drives will not mount on any computer or be recognized by the RAID config software or the WD Drive utility software. Mac OS 10.14 or 11.3 Thanks
