Drives keeps disconnecting from network

I’m using Amazon Drive to backup all my work (photographer here) and it’s synced with my computer. Obviously, I ran out of space so I thought I’d buy a NAS to free some Go on my laptop and still be able to access the files at anytime, and setup the Amazon sync from it.

I bought the Ex2 Ultra and never managed to copy and sync my files ever since. I’ve got thousands of files to copy but the drive disconnects from the network from time to time, canceling the copy and making it impossible to sync with Amazon since the disconnecting causes the software to reset and I’ve got to manually set up the sync again (useless then).

Plus, all my work being on the NAS, my Lightroom catalog is setup on it and i’ve got similar issues, I need to manually point where are my files because it lost the path.

What am I doing wrong ?

Hi @debdeb,

We suggest you to install the Goodsync application.

Backup and Synchronize content to and from a My Cloud with the GoodSync app. The GoodSync Windows or macOS software provides management of your Backup and Synchronization jobs.

Please refer to this link: My Cloud: Install GoodSync 3rd Party App

Thank you for your suggestion but this is a paid tool…

edit: i bought this software but it doesn’t allow sync with Amazon Drive so I just lost money.
