Drive SMART Failure SMART failure predicted on drive 1

Hello, I have had this error for a while not. I was able to upgrade to the os5 and that did not help. So I backed up my data I wanted to keep and did a full wipe of the harddrive and did a reset. That did not fix the issue. Does this mean my Hard drive is going bad? If so what kind do I need to replace it? Also can I go bigger if I wanted to? Its a 6 Tb now, what is my limit thanks for any help with this matter.
