Why am I getting “drive offline” when I try to access WD my cloud via WiFi from my iPad or iPhone? When I first go on the road I can access it just find, but after a couple of days I lose access and get ‘drive offline’ message.
Have you tried resetting the drive?
To improve your connection, try setting the unit with a static IP and make sure that the remote access option is enable on the dashboard.
That is hard to do when you’re 2,000 miles away and need files on the drive. Why doesn’t the mobile app have a reset or awake command included?
