Drive not recognized

I’ve had this problem for a few weeks now, it just came suddenly. It worked fine and I haven’t had any problems with it at all, then there was a new Smartware update(.17 I think it was) then it just stopped working. I tried it on other computers aswell but they didn’t recognize it either… Waited for the next update but that didn’t fix it either. I’ve read these forums and threads with similar problems but none of the solutions have worked for me. I really don’t what I should do to get it to work again. Oh and I have a My Book Elite 2TB.

Well dude, if you’ve been checking the boards and the solutions are not working for you then a replacement is the way to go…
