Drive Manager Updating Procedure

Western Digital

® Drive Manager

Release Notes for

Software Release v2.115

this makes reference to unplugging the USB connection, but I have it connected with eSATA. Would the procedure be a little different?

Hey Dude

I will suggest to install Drive Manager while connected trough USB, once installed you can continue to use with Esata.

I would not hurt to try restarting the computer in the event you want to do it with Esata, but i haven’t try that.

Hope this helps

The Western Digital Drive Manager works best on USB drives, this is the reason it is suggested to use the USB connection while updating.
