Drive disconnects from time to time

Hi, I have a portable WD Elements (2815B?) 1TB, I bought it about 5 years ago. For 3 years it worked like a charm, but then it started to disconnect. I use USB 3.0 cable to connect the drive to my laptop (I have dell inspiron 7560, it is supposed to have 2 USB 3.0 ports and one 2.0, but it has only black usbs…). First I bought new cable and I thought it was a bit better, but after some time it was the same. I have problems with it almost every time I connect it to my PC. I can forget about moving the laptop with WD drive connected, as for sure it will disconnect. It disconnects at random time, I mean, it’s not like every minute or sth.
I’ve checked micro usb cable and with this one it works fine, I haven’t experienced any issues like this, but I’m wondering what the problem is.
I don’t have such problems with different drives, I’ve also checked it on different laptop, but it’s the same.
How could I solve this issue?
