I have a couple of PAL DVD backups (e.g. Spongebob Squarepants TV series, Dora the Explorer …) which show a duration of e.g. 3 hours (while in reality, it’s only 1:30 hours). Also the time stamp is progressing at double speed (2 seconds / real second). So the playback feels “normal”, but the time index is not.
I suspect these DVDs are multi-angle, but the “other” angle has been removed because that was causing stuttering in some scenes (like opening titles where they have French or English angle).
Anyone else experienced this?
