Does WDTV Live support Seagate or other drives in USB…or just WD drives?
I plugged in my Seagate 1TB today an it didn’t recognize it.
I’m using a Seagate 2TB USB drive (SEST320005FD 2TB FreeAgent) and it works without problems.
What file system are you using on the USB drive? The WD Live supports NTFS, FAT/FAT32 and HFS+.
Also, is the drive USB powered or externally powered?

It is power externally. It’s NTFS.
