Does WDTV Live Plus support dolby 5.1 audio and subtitles from netflix?

Netflix has announced recently to launch service in Latin America and the Caribbean for streaming TV shows and movies later this year, and I was wondering if WDTV Live Plus has support for dolby digital 5.1 audio and subtitles with Netflix; I live in Colombia and I want to make sure before buying. can any one confirm it supports those features?

Hi,

I have been searching for a Netflix streaming device that can transcode Netflix’s Dolby Digital Plus codec to standard Dolby Digital 5.1  to pass to an older AVR (via HDMI)  that can’t decode DD+.  Just want to be able listen to their movies in DD (AC-3) 5.1  via my older receiver. As I understand it, if the streamer can downmix the DD+ to AC-3 and send it as PCM  then my older AVR can process it Is as 5.1. Is there a WD TV device that does that?
