Does WD TV Live Hub compatiable with HDMI 1.3 or only with HDMI 1.4?

In the spec of TV Live hub we see that it supports hdmi 1.4, does that mean it also support the earlier version 1.3 as well. My LCD TV does not support hdmi 1.4 but planning to buy a TV Live Hub. Please help.
