I need to have DLNA support this drive, I could drive to the content (photos, video) to access directly from TV to the network only recognizes devices with DLNA support. The new WD My Book World with a blue stripe already have DLNA support, but older drives blue circle do not. I have firmware 02.00.19. Thank you in advance for any advice.
As you confirmed already the older drives don’t support DLNA. You can take advantage of WD’s upgrade program and get a My Book Live.
