DLNA Browser suggestions wanted

Does anyone know of a good DLNA client that, while browsing videos, provides a Tiled or Grid-like view instead of simply a linear list of files?

100% of my videos and music have imbedded thumbnails and cover art! which Twonky in all my WD NASes serve up just fine.

I’m looking for an app that presents videos in a manner such as this:

Props to Seagate for doing this with their Media App, but it’s not a DLNA client; it only works with their own device.

I’m looking for an app both for iOS and Android, though it need not be the same app.

I’m also willing to pay for such functionality.

Thanks for your suggestions!

I’d like to know as well.

Hi,

could it be?

That’s just TwonkyBeam viewing a Youtube webpage. TwonkyBeam does not browse DLNA servers like that, plus Twonky has discontinued the Beam app.

Hi,

sure that’s a YouTube video. The presentation is very similar to your image.

OK. But what is special about the app from seagate? The presentation?
Then probably do not understand the problem. When I search for “DLNA Client” in the playstore, my x-clients are shown. Why none of these clients? What is so special that you are looking for?

I like the Grid / Tiled view the Seagate app provides when browsing media.   It’s MUCH more efficient because 3x-5x more titles are shown at a time.

Here’s an example.

Seagate shows up to 28 covers per screen:

Twonkybeam (and all other DLNA clients I’ve tried, more or less…) shows only 9:
