DLGDIAG could not repair HDD (Caviar Green - WD10EADS)

I have a 6-month old HP-210F desktop running Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) with 1TB WD 10EADS HDD.  When I tried to run DLG on the HDD, Quick Test gave “08-Error was detected while repairing bad sectors.” error message.  I could not finish the Extended Test, but have a Blue Screen of Death.  CHKDSK /r would also gave me a Blue Screen of Death when performing stage 5/5.

The desktop runs normally most of time, but would freeze once or twice a day randomly.  I am not sure if it is related to my HDD problems.

Any help or suggestion would be highly appreciated.

If the DLG couldn’t repair your drive sectors, my recommendation is to backup your device and contact WD for replacement.
