I think WD TV Live is great and am looking forward to new features and revisions.

However, when I go to look at the photos from my desktop via Wifi, something is not allowing me to view them in ‘normal’ (unstretched) mode. No matter what I try to change on my TV, my photos are stretched to the sides. I’ve also tried changing the options in Wd, to no avail. It seems as if WD TV is not allowing an 'unstretched ’ option on my tv.

Is there something I’m missing?

Have you tried contacting WD’s Technical Support? I would consider giving them a call about this.
