When you have many drives even of different colour it would be very useful to have an LCD panel located at the side of the USB connector or at the opposite end of the drive which diusplays the name assigned to the drive.  There would need to be a rechargeale LI battery internal (USB charged) to power the display with the background of the LCD display showing the used space as a coloured progress bar.
