Display bitrate

Is there any way for the player to display the curreny bitrate for each of the codecs being used while it is playing (example DTSHDMA 3356Kbps, VC-1 22.5Mbps)?

I know you can hit options and it has a bitrate in that screen but it looks like an average bitrate for the whole file and it is usually wrong. For example the last file I played, STAR WARS Episode IV bluray disc remuxed into an mkv file showed 68000 Mbps…since it would take nearly 3000 bluray discs to hold that much information obviously it is wrong. Also it pauses the movie which is highly annoying.

Your post sounds more like a good Feature Request; the best place for this, is in the Ideas Exchange section. This way someone from WD will be sure to see it and will allow more users to support your idea.

However, I would first search and make sure that there are no other active Feature Requests suggesting the same or similar improvements. If there is, then you could add your post and vote on it.
