Discovery Software Auto Update Fails with Access Denied Error

When I launch the WD Discovery application it prompts that a newer version is available. I click on YES to do the update, it starts, then fails with an Access denied message, as shown.

I am unable to find anything by searching the WD website or the forum. I’m still trying Google.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

try downloading the discovery from the website dont use the one that came on the cd
