Difficulty in accessing the drive

I have been using the drive “MY Passport 4TB” for 7months. Suddenly yesterday there was an IO error it told me that the content can’t be pasted so, I canceled that. After that issue, my external hard disk light keeps on flashing normally but I can access any content from it. It shows that the drive is connected but if we try to access the drive it would end up taking time but that doesn’t load at all and in disk management, It does not show anything about the drive instead it shows not responding as soon as I load it after connecting the drive.
