My computer didt’n detect my WD Book Essential 1.5 TB, here’s the problem : This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31).

just unboxed my book WDH1Q10000-PB1 TRIED IT ON MY PC WITH WINDOWS XP AND MY LAPTOP RUNNING VISTA AND NIETHER ONE SHOWS THE UNIT TRIED BOTH FIRE WIRE AND USB WITH SAME RESULTS
I have the opposite problem. Windows detects the drive, and it works fine with my comptuer. However, WD RAID Manager keeps giving me error messages. When I open up RAID Manager, the drive is not there.
I have My Book Exxential 1.5TB WD15EADS, seems like spinning (led indicator is on for a while, but after that its blinking), it doesnt detect on device management, well, Code 31 by windows. what should i do?i want to try to using it in my cpu, but i need it as an external drive as it is. buying another casing will help?or should i stop buying WD products?c’mon, its just couples of months ago, 3-4 maybe.
