Device recognised, but not able to transfer files

I plugged the device in - it came up in my Finder folder as untitled. I clicked into it, but I cannot transfer files or save files to it. Please advise on if I need to download Mac compatibility? I have downloaded all the ones on the website and nothing is working.

You probably need to format this drive for Mac.
