Device Offline after update

@Badarpatel please send my your support case number in a private message along with the email address used for MyCloud.com and the MAC Address.

Reported the same error right now. Tried anything described in this topic before but nothing helped.

I think WD has lost it.

They are least infact not at all bothered with our concerns or the agony we are going through.
They will replace the faulty product but what about our data. What they expect is if we are concerned about our data then we approach their “designated” data recovery centres and pay hefty amounting for data recovery with a median of 650 dollars. Then when their “designated” recovery centres have made money from us then WD will replace our faulty product which stopped working ONLY after they ruined the SEVICES in name of UPDATES.

THIS IS TOTALLY NOT ACCEPTABLE. IF WD PRODUCT FAILED BECAUSE OF THEIR FAULTY UPDATE THEN WHY SHOULD WE PAY HEFTY DATA RECOVERY CHARGES. WD SHOULD PAY FOR IT AS WE TRUSTED THEIR PRODUCT AND EXPECTED TO BE PROVIDE FAULTLESS UPDATES. THEY MESSED UP SO THEY ARE ETHICALLY AND MORALLY BOUND TO RESOLVE ALL MATTERS NOT JUST REPLACE THE PRODUCT. WE ALL KNOW DATA IS WAY MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE DEVICE ITSELF OTHERWISE WE WOULDNT BE BUYING THEIR PRODUCT IN THE FIRST PLACE. IT CONFIRMS THAT OUR DATA IS MORE PRECIOUS THAN THE COST OF THE DEVICE FOR WHICH WE PAID TO SAFEGUARD OUR IMPORTANT DATA.
