I have WD My Cloud Home. The device had an error on 30 july 2022. Ever since its been trying to ‘recover’ but no success. I have periodically got email message that the device was unable to recover itself. But from the app and brower it continues to say it is trying to ‘recover’.
I have all memories stored there. This is very frustrating as this is the second time WD MY Cloud home has failed. Last time I lost about 5% of my data and WD provided a replacement. This is now the replacement device that is failing.
I dont want to fall prey to the ‘data recovery’ people.
Is there anyway to retrieve my data?
