I have a Dell XPS laptop with a WDBlack 750GB internal serial ATA HD (WD7500BPKX) I need to replace it, my laptop is about 7 years old but works great, will a WD Blue 1T work?

It would work, but fitting into your Laptop is a different matter.

The WD10JPVX has the same dimensions as your current hard drive, while the WD10SPCX is slightly smaller.
