Deleting your own topic

Just a quick question - is there any way to delete a new topic once you’ve posted it, where your post is the only one in it?

I had a question earlier about Quickview, which I think I’ve worked out for myself. But I couldn’t remove the post/topic that I’d made about it, at least with the options I could find under editting the post or the topic options. No-one else had posted to the thread, it was only my post in it, but there still seemed to be no way to remove that now-redundant thread.

Am I missing an option here on how to do it, or is there a reason why it’s not allowed?

Hello,

We as moderators can remove the topic if you want us to do that.

You can edit the post and change the content with something like " please remove this post" and we will remove that while moderating.
