I deleted several movies from wd my book but don’t enough space to add even a single movie. The deleted movies no longer show on the list. Did I do something wrong?

I am having the same issue, which is why I registered today.
Essentially, the free space from deleted files is not being “recovered”.
In other words, I delete several GBs worth of files, and the files are removed from the file listing, as expected; however, the amount of associated free space is not being reclaimed or recalculated accordingly.
My first thought was to run scandisk, before realizing that scandisk is not support on NAS.
