I have a question - If I want to store my pictures on my WD external hard drive, can I delete them from my computer? Only have 84GB left in computer and 2TB in my external hard drive. I would like to store all my pictures there and erase them from my computer. Thanks.
Make sure you have more than one copy of important files on different drives before deleting off your main PC. If you have a problem with external after deleting from your PC you cold loose them for good. The forum is full of people who have done that and are trying to recover them. One copy is not a backup!
